On The Move

Tracy Allan opened at The Hair Room in Banchory Business Centre on Saturday 29th March, so Tracy is now available both in Banchory and Peterculter.

On the same day, Chicabelle Make-Up Artistry joined forces with hair stylist Donna at her beautiful venue, Oak Hair Salon in Drumoak so that Frances (Roberts) can concentrate on the make-up artistry that she is known for.

Enchanted Boutique got the keys to new premises in Kemnay mid-April. Jemma will keep Enchanted Boutique's Facebook page current with details.

Flavoured Flavours

Country Flavours of Alford, whose first wedding of 2014 was at Balmoral Castle no less, now looks after all the catering at Monymusk Estate.

Furthermore a marquee has been erected on the estate suitable for weddings for 80 to 300 guests, with the marquee being adapted in size to suit.

Apart from a beautiful setting on the River Don with Bennachie in the background, there is also an option to get married in the nearby Monymusk Church.

5 Star in Aberdeen West End

The Chester Hotel in Queen's Road, has completed the 5 million pound expansion and refurbishment project started in spring 2013.

The now five-star luxury hotel has 54 guestrooms, including two suites, a fine-dining restaurant, relaxed lounge cocktail bar and gym.

The sparkly new function suite can cater for weddings with up to 230 guests and has already been put to use.

Photographers Nicholas Frost and Calum Riddell are swapping cameras for cycles and cycling from London to Paris in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nick (who recently won another award this time for his baby rather than wedding photos) and Calum have already raised over £4,000 for their nominated charity but, as the duo don't set off on the 4-day ride until 2nd July, there is still time to support them by clicking here.
