Country Flavours of Alford, whose first wedding of 2014 was at Balmoral Castle no less, now looks after all the catering at Monymusk Estate.

Furthermore a marquee has been erected on the estate suitable for weddings for 80 to 300 guests, with the marquee being adapted in size to suit.

Apart from a beautiful setting on the River Don with Bennachie in the background, there is also an option to get married in the nearby Monymusk Church.

Ruby Celebrations for Sinclairs

Sinclairs Jewellers of Inverurie is celebrating 40 years in business with a series of charity events. Founded in 1975, the family firm was the ‘Time Sponsor’ for Run Garioch in March, has an afternoon tea/fashion show in May and a golf day in August – both at Meldrum House, and will hold its 40th Anniversary Ball at Thainstone Exchange at the end of October.

Eco-friendly luxury for Valentine

Valentine Chauffeur Drive is awaiting its first hybrid vehicle – a Range Rover Autobiography SDV6 diesel-powered electric hybrid. The top-of-the-range eco-friendly and luxurious model has 200 mm of extra legroom and Wi-Fi.

Possibly the first such wedding car in the northeast, the Autobiography is one of several new vehicles being added to Valentine’s fleet in the first six months of 2015. Due to arrive in June, it is available for both existing and new bookings

Timeless White Wedding Planning has launched a Wedding Planning Academy for brides-to-be. The academy will give brides-to-be the insider industry knowledge to enable them to personalise, budget and plan their weddings. The first one-day session will take place at Fasque House in Fettercairn on the 18th October 2014.
