As soon as your wedding venue has been booked you will have a massive ‘TO DO' list to proceed with your planning. The booking of your entertainment should be very close to the top of that list. Remember the best bands are booked well in advance, with some confirmed bookings as much as two years ahead, or even more. For the wedding service itself we can provide Pipers, Harpists, Classical Guitarists, Pianists, Vocalists and various options for pre-dinner entertainment. We can also supply many of the top bands and Discos in the area to perform at the all important Reception Dance. When you contact this agency we will discuss your requirements fully before providing you with a list of suitable bands and where they can be seen playing LIVE.

Under normal circumstances Elite Promotions will NEVER book a wedding band unless you have seen them play LIVE.

Of the hundreds of wedding bookings made by Elite Promotions we find it is becoming more and more popular to book a band AND disco package. The reason for this is that your evening guests normally arrive around 7.30pm and the wedding reception itself normally finishes at 1am. This means a total of five and a half hours in which your guests must be entertained.

A Disco can start your evening in a relaxed manner playing ‘background music’ while your room is changed around for the reception. Your evening guests arrive offering their congratulations to the bride and groom, before meeting old friends and family they may not have seen for some time. 'The formal part of the evening should never be rushed and only when your guests are settled should this very important part of the reception proceed. The band would then take over and play the bulk of the evening until midnight with the Disco filling in during any band breaks before finally finishing off your party from midnight until 1am.

Once you have made your choice of entertainment whether it is a Party Band, Traditional Function Band, Ceilidh Band or Disco, we will provide you, and the entertainers, with a legally binding contract to ensure your peace of mind. A small deposit is then payable by cash, cheque or credit card. We would then not normally contact you again until approximately one month before the wedding date to discuss the format for the reception and in particular, the all important first dance etc. At any time between booking your entertainment and the wedding itself you are welcome to call our office to discuss any aspect of the wedding reception that may affect the wedding entertainment.
