King's College Aberdeen is an unforgettable venue for your unforgettable day. Set in the heart of historic Old Aberdeen with its cobbled streets and fine Scottish architecture, the University of Aberdeen has been an integral part of the city for over 500 years. Founded in 1496 by Bishop William Elphinstone, it is the third oldest University in Scotland and the fifth oldest in the UK.

The impressive façade of King's College and the surrounding gardens create a romantic backdrop for your wedding photographs, whilst the interior offers the perfect venue in which to hold your reception.

The University of Aberdeen has a variety of venues in which to host your special day. Whether it is the stunning Elphinstone Hall for the larger wedding, the more intimate Linklater Rooms, the breathtaking James McKay Hall or the Old Town House for the smaller party, we have something to suit your requirements.

King's Chapel is available for wedding ceremonies to members of the University of Aberdeen and The Robert Gordon University. Should you wish to be married at King's Chapel please contact the Chaplaincy Centre for more information on tel 01224 272137 or chaplaincy@abdn.ac.uk.
