It's all your wedding needs ...
First come, first served new issue out NOW!!!!!!!
Welcome to the spring/summer 2008 edition of the Grampian Wedding Directory.
Looking back to last year’s spring/summer issue I was optimistic for another great summer, particularly as April’s weather had given genuine hope. Unfortunately, it was not to be and the weather dampened many brides’ well-laid plans. For all our readers getting married this year, I hope the weather is more obliging and you get the best from all your preparations for your special day.
Here at GWD, we can’t stop growing! Our regular readers will note the printed version is now 212 pages! Online, we also continue to give you more content and more contacts, with still more to come. So, if you have not already added www.gwd.uk.com to your favourites, do so now!
In this issue, read about a previous GWD cover girl who made a model bride, a very decisive bride who organised and executed a beautiful and very personal wedding, and a veritable Bond-girl who made the most of her theme. Also, Catherine Stott caught up with Stewart Parvin, an Edinburgh-trained designer who boasts the Queen amongst his clients!
In this issue you can win a videography package from WRAP worth £1,299, and also £500 towards the cost of your wedding. Last issue’s winner has already chosen where to spend her £500. What would you spend it on? And don’t forget to have a go at our caption competition, the entry that makes us smile the most wins dinner, bed and breakfast in the 4-star Drumossie Hotel on the outskirts of Inverness!
We love starting from a blank bit of paper every six months and watching GWD develop into “the bride’s bible”. And we thank you, the readers, for your part in helping us produce an unrivalled amount of information about weddings, specifically for brides in the north east of Scotland.
Thank you also to so many of our readers who attended the Your Wedding Exhibition in January at the AECC. The event proved a great platform for you to meet the people involved with weddings face-to-face. As in previous years, it was a tremendous success and we’re already looking forward to YWE 2009.
And one final thank you. In this issue we enjoyed the help of RGU placement student, Cheryl Morrison, and I’d like to thank her for the effort put in for you and hope that, now, you will use it and enjoy it!
So don’t dally, and order your copy of the new GWD now, after all, it’s all your wedding needs!
