Clean up your act

Once the big day is over, you will have to decide what to do with The Dress. You may decide to recoup some of your outlay by selling it, or have it altered and even dyed so that you can use it as an evening dress. Perhaps you will put it aside with the thought that any daughters you may have will wear it at their own weddings.

Whatever you decide, you must have the dress cleaned soon after the wedding. A dress worn all day, during photographs, meal and dancing, is bound to pick up some dirt and stains, even though nothing is visible. If you were to put it away with even the smallest mark, it would be in danger of rotting, not to mention attracting moths.
